The Slot rides Vick to Victory

Micheal Vick's MNF performance will be the stuff of Fantasy football legend for years to come; 300+ passing yards, 4 passings TDs, 80 yards rushing and 2 rushing TDs for a total of 58 points! The Slot has added and dropped Vicks several times, but it has finally paid off. The 170 points is the highest total score this season (perhaps ever). Too bad the Slot couldn't have spread that over a few weeks. The match-up with V Dub has already over by the time Vick took the field.
Open (in the) Slot 170 - V Dub 77.

OB's Method (7-3) 59
Double D's Flyin' Tigers (4-6) 41

This was a pathetic match-up, both teams started 2 players on a BYE. OB has no right to be leading his division with the second best record in the league. The win was just plane dumb luck. We're gonna revoke his man card.

The Razor's (8-2) separate from the pack with a 188-85 win over the Pitbulls. Rando has won 5 straight. The Terps and Stars also won, but half the league is 5-5.

What a crazy year!

The Force falls to the Rising Razors - log jam in the middle

In week 8 Randos Razors (6-2) edged ahead to the league lead with a convincing win over the Soul Sonic Force (5-3) 127-79. The Razors were lead by 23 points from Arian Foster, but it was a team effort. 7-8 players scored in double digits. The Force lost Kenny Britt (who scored 40+ the week before) to a hamstring injury.

So we have a big log jam of teams chasing the Razors. 3 teams are 5-3 and 3 teams are 4-4. Every game from here on is a critical one.

In the cruel and unusual punishment department, the Slot goes down again by a narrow margin in week 8.
Romo's Raiders (4-4) 110
Open (in the) Slot (1-7) 107

The Slot has lost 4 matchups by 5 points or less. But he rules the waiver wire with the most transactions, and has a tendency to add and drop the same players over and over again.

Is it the Force or a Holloween parlor trick?

Week #7 means we are half way thru this 13 week season. It's time to start thinkin' playoffs. But nothin' seems decided at this point. The Soul Sonic Force keeps coming up with ways to win. Week 7 was no different. The Force beat the Flyin' Tigers (2-5) 131-98. The Tigers were competitive with 98 points, 27 from RB Micheal Turner. But The Force get Forty-One (41), from Kenny Britt? How did they know the Eagles were going to lay down like dogs and get spanked by a backup QB and a 2nd tier WR? Only the Force knows.

Rando's Razors (5-2) 91
Jonesville Terrapins (3-4) 78
Rando keeps pace with SSF with a steady win over the Terps. Nothing spectacular here, Bye backup Thomas Jones was the top scorer (19). The Terps fall below .500.

Brooklyn PitBulls (4-3)68
Capitol Stars (4-3) 98
Pamela gets a big win over the Brooklyn Giants. WR Roddy White paces the Stars with 33 points, but she looses Tony Romo. The Giants are on a BYE this week Mickey. Are you paying attention?

Open (in the) Slot(1-6) 68
OB's Method (OBM) (5-2) 70

OB, this is why you get no respect. You're 5-2 and at the top on the league. But you can only beat a team with only 1 win by 2 point! The Slot has to be the Rodney Dangerfield of Fantasy Football, no respect.

V Dub (3-4) 85
Romo's Raiders(3-4) 104
It's a wonder how Jesse scored 85 point with the Titans D/ST (16) as top scorer. The Roller-coaster Raiders were up this week. The other Manning posted 30. Both these teams need to get hot if they are to make the playoffs.

The Big matchup this week is between the Soul Sonic Force and Randos Raiders (both 5-2). The line is close. Let's see what the Force pulls outta their butt this time.
